Vaginal Mesh Surgery Lawsuit Gains Momentum
The popular British newspaper, The Telegraph, reported on April 18th, 2017 that hundreds of women are joining the vaginal mesh surgery lawsuit. Rightfully angered women are suing the NHS as a result of vaginal mesh surgeries they underwent and are now experiencing complications as a result of. Some women have stated that they, “felt like broken glass down there,” and to “please sedate me so that I don’t have to be in pain anymore.” Because the transvaginal mesh implants were manufactured by the same companies that sold them in the US British women are sharing the same deviating effects.
According to this latest investigative reporting, thousands of British women have been affected at a rate of one in every eleven who underwent the procedure. These numbers are consistent with a 2012 report that found approximately fifteen percent of women with the devices will have moderate to severe complications.
Furthermore, there is a growing group of British women now pursuing legal action against the same manufacturers fighting tens of thousands of lawsuits in the United States. The Bramzon and Associates Specialty Litigation law firm remain committed to defending the rights of thousands of these women through a rigorous defense based on hard facts and undeniable liability at the hands of medical device companies who are all too often focused on bottom line profits over patient outcomes.
